Our Glamorous Debutante Ball
TransGender San Francisco sponsors an annual Cotillion, which features skits, performances, contests for Mr. TGSF and Ms. TGSF, plus a formal presentation of ladies to polite Society.

TGSF invites all community members, including first-time participants, to attend this glittering affair. Previous Cotillions have attracted visitors from all over the Bay Area, California, and indeed as far as Ireland and Indonesia. A panel of judges representing the diversity of the community selects Mr. and Ms. TGSF during the event. A star-studded celebrity cast adds glamour and style to the show.
The Cotillion occurs every January, and TGSF works diligently throughout the year to bring the best event possible to fruition.
We welcome all to participate, interact, or simply be entertained. The Cotillion is a gift to the community we all share.

Tables are round and seat 10; a delicious meal is included; a fully-staffed no-host bar is available; parking is convenient, and the venue is very close to the host hotel.
Note to groups: you may request seating together by using the comment section in the checkout process.
Tables are assigned as the purchases are made. We generally work from closest to the stage around the dance floor. Platinum is closest, Gold a little further back, and Silver furthest back. If you want a specific table, just let us know. Please let us know of people wishing to sit together so that we can handle that.
Tickets will be available at will call.
Some tickets are available at Carla's and someone was going to drop them off with Donna Freeman and Jo-An. Tickets can be purchased from members of the TGSF ExCom as well.

Contestant Application
Note: The application deadline for becoming a contestant for Cotillion 2008 has passed, but please do feel free to let us know if you're interested in being a contestant next year.
Are you interested in representing your brothers and sisters in the TG community? If so, maybe you should consider running for Mr. or Ms. TGSF 2008. Mr. and Ms. TGSF are the visible representatives of TGSF and the entire transgender community and it is a wonderful way to give back to your community.
However you will find, if you compete, that you get far more out of it than you can ever give back. You will build camaraderie with the other contestants that transcends the norm. You will build friendships that will last a lifetime.

Venue
The South San Francisco Conference Center has been selected as the site of the 2008 Cotillion, which will be held on January 12, 2008. SSFCC is located about 5 miles north of the San Francisco Airport at 255 South Airport Blvd, right at the northbound South Airport Blvd exit.
There are a number of hotels in the area, including two on the convention center property. We have also arranged for the Grosvenor Hotel, about 1 block south, to serve as the host hotel. We have arranged for 20, rooms, including 9 suites, at the fabulous rate of $83 per night, including breakfast. Please note that the suites may be slightly more.

Host Hotel
The Grosvenor Hotel has been selected as the Host Hotel for the 2008 Cotillion. We have arranged for 20 rooms, including 9 suites, for the price of $83 per night. The suites may be slightly extra. As an extra bonus, a free breakfast is provided for all guests between the hours of 6:00 and 11:00am.
The Grosvenor is located at 380 South Airport Blvd. South San Francisco, CA and is one block from the South San Francisco Convention Center, the site of the 2008 Cotillion.
Make your reservations as soon as possible as the rooms should go very quickly at this rate.
