PFLAG

FLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

PFLAG has over 200,000 members with both local and international chapters.

International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE)

- IFGE is a clearing house for transgender educational materials. The Diversity Center offers a FTM (female-to-male) Discussion and Support Group.
Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Thursday each month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

Wednesday meetings are open to FTMs, partners, friends and family members. Thursday meetings are open to FTMs as described above (4th Thursday).

These groups are open to anyone who was labeled female at birth and no longer feels that is complete or accurate. Group members may identify as or be exploring identities including: FTM, transman, guy, man, male, transgender, transsexual, gender queer, intersexed, gender-questioning, cross-dresser, male-to-male, transbutch, boi, drag king, bigender, genderless, trannyfag, etc.

Facilitator Teresa "Antonia" Broccoli, M.S.W., A.S.W., Clinical and Community Social Worker, Pychotherapist and an Activist has been a proud member of the LGBTQI community for nearly thirty years. Antonia is committed to providing a compassionate, safe space for individuals on the FTM spectrum to receive support, network, and socialize with peers in an environment that is unique for female-to-male trans persons on all points of gender identity and emergence.
